Photography has been a lifelong passion, first sparked at 12 with my dad's camera. Over the past 14 years, this passion has evolved into a professional career focusing on capturing maternity, newborn, and child portraits that celebrate life's precious moments.
In 2023, a new chapter unfolded as my husband and I moved to Vancouver Island to create a new home in Victoria, BC. With our grown children starting their own journeys, this transition also brought an exciting shift in my photography.
Inspired by Victoria's dog-friendly culture and vibrant community, I embraced pet photography—a perfect way to combine my artistic vision with my love for animals.

I’ve taken hundreds of pictures of my puppy and have yet to take one that comes anywhere close to Shelly’s photos! Shelly is a true professional with an incredible eye.
She had planned out backdrops that she knew would complement my puppy’s colouring, and managed to coach both me and my puppy and work quickly (the shoot was around 20 minutes) .
